Bishop’s Peak is the second label of Talley Vineyards.  Conceived by Brian Talley in 1999, the idea was to bring the same purity of flavor and authenticity that are hallmarks of Talley Vineyards to wines at a lower price point.  The brand is named for an ancient volcano located on the edge of San Luis Obispo that serves as an important landmark for the region.

Bishop’s Peak wines are produced from declassified Talley Vineyards grapes along with grapes purchased from other local growers.  The wines are made at Talley Vineyards employing many of the same techniques that are employed with our estate grown wines.
